Sitting directly across from Millennium Park is the newly renovated, Chicago Athletic Association, you can find them here on Instagram. Originally built in 1893, this Venetian Gothic inspired building is part of the Historic Michigan Avenue Boulevard District. Back in 2002, the building was deemed a Chicago Landmark. We didn't get to spend much time here, but with the free wifi in the lobby, prohibition style drinks (and a secret door behind the front desk that was used in Prohibition days to sneak out of the hotel), A GAME ROOM WITH A BOCCE BALL COURT, another new Land and Sea Department restaurant Cherry Circle Room AND A ROOF TOP BAR. We will be spending many summer days here.
